Dear Colleagues,
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 40th Congress of the Pan-Pacific Surgical Association Japan Chapter (PPSA-JC), which will be held on February 25–27, 2027, in Bangkok, Thailand. As a milestone gathering for our association, this congress will take place at LEBUA BANGKOK, an outstanding venue located in the heart of one of Asia’s most dynamic international cities. We hope this inspiring setting will foster meaningful scientific exchange and strengthen professional friendships among surgeons across the Pan-Pacific region.
The theme of this meeting,
“Creating the Next Era of Surgery through Collaboration and Mutual Insight,”
reflects our conviction that the future of surgery will be shaped not by a single specialty, profession, or generation, but through collaboration, shared knowledge, and mutual respect among surgeons with diverse perspectives.
The scientific program will present a broad spectrum of advances in surgical science and clinical practice. At the same time, this congress will provide young Japanese surgeons with valuable opportunities to present their work in English and actively engage in international scientific dialogue, thereby nurturing the next generation of global surgical leaders.
Beyond the scientific sessions, we look forward to welcoming you to memorable social events, including the welcome reception and farewell gathering, in Bangkok, where participants can further strengthen friendships and international collaboration in a warm and collegial atmosphere.
I sincerely look forward to welcoming you to Bangkok and to sharing with you an inspiring and rewarding congress experience.
Sincerely,
Congress President
